USYS National League PRO Recap

December 6, 2022

FIVE of our State Boy’s teams qualified for the USYS National League PRO Championship in Florida.  We took the opportunity to give you a quick recap on how the weekend went for our teams

About USYS National League PRO:

“It serves as the competitive national league format in which teams compete for direct advancement to the annual US Youth Soccer National Championships. Teams earn their place into National League P.R.O. each season through their performance in the Conferences.”

Overview of the Weekend:

2007 State Navy: A tough weekend this team.  Started off the weekend losing 1-0 to La Roca Milla from Utah.  In their last 2 games they were unable to seal the deal and tied 1-1 and 0-0 respectively.  They will keep their heads held high as it was a rare bad weekend for this team

2006 State Navy: Another tough weekend for this side as they lost 4-1 in their first match but followed that up with a much better performance and earned a 1-1 draw in their last game of the weekend.  Keep your heads up boys!

2005 State Navy: Another dominant display for this side.  Starting the weekend off in cruise control, winning 3-1.  Followed up with a draw and another win to cap off a spectacular weekend for them.  Ended the weekend 2nd in their bracket only by goal difference to Raiders FC from Illinois.  Well done boys!

2005 State Sky: Up and down weekend from this team.  Losing their first and last game but winning their second in fashion 3-0 against Downey FC.  They just couldn’t find the consistency that they normally have for us!  Unlucky weekend for them down in Florida.

2004 State Grey: A decent weekend from a team with lots of new faces.  Going 1-1-1 over the weekend is something to be proud of when lots of your team graduated this past summer.  They will look to get back to their brilliant best in the near future!
