New England Surf Alumni Shine at the College Level

We’re proud to share updates on recent New England Surf graduates who have taken their game to the next level at the collegiate level, continuing to represent Surf with excellence.

Boys College Updates:

  • Mohamed Mehaya – Suffolk University: Mohamed has had an outstanding regular season, finishing as the team’s leading goal scorer with 11 goals, tied for 3rd in assists with 7, and leading the team in total points with 28. His performance reflects the hard work he’s put in since his Surf days.

  • Andrew Schriener – Dickinson College: Andrew contributed 1 goal and 2 assists in 10 games for the #16 D3 program, showcasing his steady presence on the field.

  • Owen Silva – Emmanuel College: Owen has been a rock in goal, starting 14 of 18 games with a 1.34 goals-against average, totaling 64 saves, and holding a 7-3-4 record. His consistent performances have been key for Emmanuel.

  • Oliver Mylon – Hamilton College: Competing in one of the toughest conferences in D3 men’s soccer, Oliver has played in 15 games, starting 7, registering 3 assists and 10 shots on goal. Notably, he provided 2 game-winning assists in critical 1-0 conference victories.

Girls College Updates:

  • Maya Lloyd – Williams College: Maya scored the game-winning goal against #10 Middlebury and remains the team’s top goal scorer.

  • Emma Darling – Amherst College: Emma scored twice in a 3-0 win over Trinity and leads Amherst in goals.

  • Kira Henderson – Montclair State: Kira and Montclair State went unbeaten to win their conference. As a freshman, Kira started every game and logged the most minutes of any outfield player.

  • Ava Chiappinelli – Hamilton College: Ava played the second most minutes of any outfield player and helped Hamilton qualify for the NESCAC postseason.

  • Evelyn Savoie & Lindsay Edmonson – Macalester College: Evelyn added 2 more assists last month, bringing her season totals to 3 goals and 4 assists. Lindsay has 2 goals and 2 assists, both continuing to make significant contributions for Macalester.

We’re thrilled to see our recent Surf graduates excelling across college programs, demonstrating the skill, dedication, and competitive spirit cultivated at New England Surf. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!
