New England Surf is proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of our G2010 Navy team, who reached the ECNL Regional League National Semifinals this summer. Led by Head Coach Jonny Bonner, this group of U-15 girls demonstrated relentless determination, elite-level composure, and inspiring teamwork throughout their journey.

“We’re incredibly proud of our U-15 ECNL RL girls for their run to the national semifinals,” said Coach Bonner. “This group has shown tremendous growth, discipline, and character throughout the year, and making it to the final four at a national level is a huge accomplishment for them and our club.”

Among the standout performers was goalkeeper Maggie Peterson, who proved to be a commanding presence between the posts—conceding just one goal in six games from Regionals through the semifinals. Her vocal leadership and clutch saves anchored the team throughout their run. Center back Mackenzie Callahan impressed with her composure, tactical awareness, and ability to play confidently out of the back. Meanwhile, central midfielder Viella Alkan served as the heartbeat of the team, dictating the pace of play with excellent passing range while providing a strong physical and tactical presence in the middle of the park.

Coach Bonner concluded, “I’m incredibly proud of this group. They’ve worked so hard all season, and to see them perform at such a high level and showcase their talents on the national stage was a really special moment for everyone involved.”
