New England Surf and Boston Bolts Partner with Premier Soccer Services to Launch the 2026 Boston International Cup Memorial Day Tournament
Boston, MA — New England Surf and Boston Bolts are proud to officially announce the launch of the Boston International Cup Memorial Day, a premier youth soccer tournament to be held annually over Memorial Day weekend. This newly rebranded event marks a strategic evolution of the successful TapIn Memorial Day Tournament, which both clubs previously held together. It will now be part of the prestigious International Cup Series, in collaboration with Premier Soccer Services (PSS).
The 2026 Boston International Cup Memorial Day is poised to be the most ambitious edition yet, with over 800 teams expected, including significant commitments from Boston Bolts, New England Surf, NEFC, and numerous returning clubs from last year’s event. View 2025 participating teams here.
This elite event will bring together premier youth soccer teams for a high-level competition experience in one of the nation’s most historic soccer markets. The tournament promises world-class organization, elite matchups, and an unforgettable atmosphere for players, coaches, and families.
With 2026 being a FIFA World Cup year — and Boston serving as one of the host cities — the Boston International Cup arrives at a perfect moment to celebrate and amplify the sport’s growing momentum in the region. The tournament will serve as a fitting lead-up to the global spectacle, energizing the local soccer community and welcoming teams to compete in a city preparing to take the world stage.
“This partnership represents a major step forward in elevating the level and reach of our Memorial Day tournament,” said Tommaso Trevisan, Chief Operating Officer of New England Surf, “By joining the International Cup Series and collaborating with PSS, we’re expanding the platform for our teams and clubs while bringing world-class competition and experiences to the Boston soccer community.”
Marco Koolman, Executive Director of Boston Bolts, addeda, “The Boston International Cup is built on a shared vision of excellence. Elite-level competition from across continents will elevate the quality and experience of this Memorial Day tournament. After a very successful 2025 event, we’re proud to co-host this event with New England Surf and excited to provide a stage that reflects the ambition and talent of our region’s players.”
As part of the International Cup Series, which includes elite events in Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, and now Boston, the tournament will benefit from national marketing efforts, sponsor activations, and engaging fan experiences led by PSS.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Boston to the International Cup Series,” said Scott Spencer, Owner and CEO of Premier Soccer Services. “The region’s rich soccer culture, combined with the proven leadership of New England Surf and Boston Bolts, ensures this event will be a marquee stop on the national calendar.”
Looking ahead, the Boston International Cup aims to expand its international reach, with outreach already underway to clubs in Canada, Bermuda, and Europe to elevate the global profile of the tournament.
The 2026 Boston International Cup Memorial Day will take place from May 22 to 25, 2026. More information on registration, travel packages, and sponsorship opportunities will be available soon at www.internationalcupseries.com.
