Our U11 girls’ Pre-State Program has shown promise with some impressive results, marking an incredible start to their journey towards the State program. They’ve made significant strides in their development and both continue to compete at a high level, yet there’s always room to grow and they have plenty more to improve on. Both the Navy and Sky teams are fully aware that staying focused is key as we continue working hard to elevate our game together.” Rob Speed, Coach of the Navy team and Pre-State Director said, “I’m super proud of their work this year – they’ve surprised us with their amazing run of results. The future looks bright for our girls 2013 State program.”

Both teams have racked up quite the list of accolades this fall, including: 

NECSL Pre National Metro: League Champions – Pre State Navy

Surf Labor Day Cup: Top Bracket Champions – Pre State Navy 

Surf Labor Day Cup Top Bracket Runners up – Pre State Sky

CFC Columbus day tournament Champions – Pre State Sky

IFA Pre Thanksgiving Gold Bracket Champions – Pre State Sky 

IFA Pre Thanksgiving Platinum Bracket Champions – Pre State Navy

Although both teams had a great season, the Navy squad had multiple individual achievements worth noting. Paige Carr led the team in goals with 10, followed by Savannah Flynn who scored 6. Along with incredible goal-scorers, the team had a fiercely strong defense only conceding 3 goals in league play. The defenders leading the charge were  Luisa Rodriguez, Scarlett Heward, Molly Logan. 

Both teams are now preparing to represent NE Surf at the Jefferson Cup in March.
