New England Surf’s State Girls Program offers a high-performance pathway for elite players through three competitive tiers:
Navy Teams – ECNL Regional League (ECNL-RL)
Sky Teams – National Academy League (NAL)
Royal Teams – New England Club Soccer League (NECSL)
Our player-first approach ensures each athlete receives expert coaching, individualized feedback, and a professional training environment focused on long-term development and success.

Director of Coaching
Darren Gallagher is a former Head Coach of the Holy Cross Women’s Soccer program and brings over 20 years of experience in youth and collegiate soccer. Since launching our girls program, Darren has led it to multiple DPL Championships and ECNL RL Finals, while guiding more than 50 alumni in the past five years to continue their careers at the collegiate level. His leadership, standards, and player development focus have been foundational to the program’s growth and success.
For players born between 2012 and 2015:
Our State Teams are designed for athletes who are performing at a higher level and are ready for a more intensive training and competition schedule.
Our Regional Teams offer a competitive environment for players who want to continue developing their skills with a more flexible time commitment.
Please register for the tryout that best fits your goals—either the State or Regional program.
After the session, our staff will communicate which environment best fits your child’s long-term developmental needs. Our goal is to ensure the best possible team placement for your child.
