Overview

This 8-week Spring Online Performance Clinic is designed to support youth soccer players throughout the demands of the season - helping maintain performance, reduce injury risk, and build consistency without adding unnecessary time commitments.


Built in response to busy spring schedules, the program follows a pre-recorded, on-demand format, allowing players to train on their own time while still receiving structured, high-level guidance and ongoing coach support.


Players receive:

  • Weekly session releases (video + PDF) with clear structure and progression
  • Age-appropriate, soccer-specific training designed for in-season demands
  • Flexibility to complete sessions at home, on their own schedule
  • Detailed guidance on sets, reps, progressions, and recovery
  • Direct access for feedback and questions throughout the program

Focus areas include:

  • Maintaining strength, speed, and power during the season
  • Managing fatigue alongside match and training loads
  • Injury prevention through improved movement quality


For MLS NEXT and ECNL-RL players, this program fills a critical gap - providing consistent physical development support during a period where time is limited and performance demands are high.

Why We're Different


Most U.S. youth programs overlook strength and conditioning - but at elite European academies, it’s a core part of development.


This program was built by Brian Gheorghiu, Surf’s Sports Performance Lead. Brian earned his Master’s of Science at the University of Bath, where he studied under professionals connected to the UK Olympic Training Center and Southampton FC satellite site. He also coached and interned at top NCAA programs including Boston University and Northeastern.


This isn’t a generic workout download - it reflects the same developmental philosophy used by top academies worldwide.
